Make the most of May half term with a five-star family football holiday on Spain's Costa del Sol. From Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June 2027, the five-star IKOS Andalusia in Spain opens its doors to Football Escapes families for a week of world-class coaching, five-star hospitality, and the kind of time together your family will remember for years.
Late May at IKOS Andalusia is the shoulder-season sweet spot. State-school pupils are still in lessons, the resort feels personal, and the days are long and warm. The pitch is in mint condition, ready for the run-up to summer.
Each weekday morning, your child takes to the resort pitch with a top professional ambassador (still to be confirmed for 2027) and our UEFA-licensed coaching team. While they train, you have nothing to do but enjoy a five-star morning, whether that is the spa, the pool, or a long quiet breakfast. The rest of the day belongs to your family.
Football anchors the week, but the holiday is bigger than that. The five days build through a Parents' Game with the ambassador, family-wide Q&As, FE Games Night, the medal ceremony on Friday, and a string of moments that make this trip the one your family talks about all year.
Every week is different. Beyond the coaching, expect a programme of extras that might include padel with the ambassador, a round of golf, yoga, parent challenges, and pool games with our coaches for the kids. There is plenty of relax time built in too. The line-up changes week to week, so ask us about your week and we will share what is planned. It is a full-on week, in the best way.
The 2027 ambassador for this week is still being confirmed. We are working with some of the most recognisable names in the game and our line-up will be revealed in stages over the coming months. Reserve your holiday now and you will be among the first to hear when the name lands.
Why this week? Late May lands in a sweet spot, with warm weather and the resort at its calmest before the summer holidays. With only 25 places on each course, the experience feels personal from day one.
How it works
Booking is simple. Tell us the week and we will handle the rest, including your five-star stay at IKOS Andalusia, your child's place on the course, and flights if you need them. Holidays are normally a week or more and the football course runs Monday to Friday morning, so the rest of the day is yours.
Places are limited to 25 children per course, and the only way to guarantee one is to book your holiday through Football Escapes.
