Spend May half term on Mallorca's quiet southeast coast, on a family football holiday built for parents and kids alike. From Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June 2027, the five-star IKOS Porto Petro in Mallorca, Spain opens its doors to Football Escapes families for a week of world-class coaching, five-star hospitality, and the kind of time together your family will remember for years.
May at IKOS Porto Petro is Mallorca before the rush. The Cala d'Or coves are quiet, the harbour ticks over in a low-key way, and the resort has the kind of calm that makes a half term feel like a real reset rather than just another busy week.
Coaching runs every weekday morning with a top professional ambassador (to be confirmed for 2027) and our team of UEFA-licensed coaches on a pristine pitch at the heart of the resort. While your child is training, the morning is yours. The afternoon and evening are for the family to enjoy together.
Football is the heart of the week, but it is a holiday for everyone. The week builds from the first session on Monday to the medal ceremony on Friday, with a Parents' Game, ambassador Q&As, FE Games Night, and plenty of moments your kids will still be talking about on the flight home.
No two Football Escapes weeks are the same. Around the morning sessions, we run a programme of extras that can include parent challenges, pool games with the coaches, padel with the ambassador, golf for the grown-ups, and the occasional yoga class for whoever fancies it. The schedule shifts week to week. Ask us about your week and we will walk you through it.
Who is the 2027 ambassador for this week? That is the question. We have worked with World Cup winners, Premier League legends and current internationals in the past, and our 2027 line-up is being locked in now. Booking before the reveal is the only way to secure your child's place.
Why this week? May in Mallorca is shoulder season at its best, warm enough for the beach and calm enough that the resort feels personal. With only 25 places on each course, the experience feels personal from day one.
How it works
You book your full holiday through Football Escapes and we take care of everything. That includes your stay at IKOS Porto Petro, access to the football course, and flights if you need them. One booking, one point of contact, no hassle.
Family holidays are usually 7 nights or more, with the Football Course running Monday to Friday in the morning. Afternoons and evenings are entirely yours to enjoy as a family. Each course has a capacity of just 25 children, so places go quickly, and the only way to guarantee your child's place is to book your holiday stay through Football Escapes.
