From Monday 26 July to Friday 30 July 2027, the five-star IKOS Kissamos in Crete, Greece opens its doors to Football Escapes families for a week of world-class coaching, five-star hospitality, and the kind of time together your family will remember for years.
The first state-school summer holiday week at IKOS Kissamos lands in the height of Cretan summer. The Aegean is at its warmest, the resort is in full flow, and the pitch sits right where you want it to be in late July.
Each weekday morning, your child takes to the resort pitch with a top professional ambassador (still to be confirmed for 2027) and our UEFA-licensed coaching team. While they train, you have nothing to do but enjoy a five-star morning, whether that is the spa, the pool, or a long quiet breakfast. The rest of the day belongs to your family.
Football anchors the week, but the holiday is bigger than that. The five days build through a Parents' Game with the ambassador, family-wide Q&As, FE Games Night, the medal ceremony on Friday, and a string of moments that make this trip the one your family talks about all year.
Every week is different. Beyond the coaching, expect a programme of extras that might include padel with the ambassador, a round of golf, yoga, parent challenges, and pool games with our coaches for the kids. There is plenty of relax time built in too. The line-up changes week to week, so ask us about your week and we will share what is planned. It is a full-on week, in the best way.

How it works
One booking through Football Escapes covers it all: your stay at IKOS Kissamos, your place on the football course, and flights if you would like us to handle them. Most families stay for 7 nights or more, with coaching running Monday to Friday morning and your afternoons and evenings free.
With capacity capped at 25 children per course, the only way to lock in your place is by booking your full holiday with us.
