Open the football year in western Crete with a five-star family football holiday at IKOS Kissamos. From Monday 31 May to Friday 4 June 2027, the five-star IKOS Kissamos in Crete, Greece opens its doors to Football Escapes families for a week of world-class coaching, five-star hospitality, and the kind of time together your family will remember for years.
Western Crete in late May is one of our team's favourite weeks of the year. Spring is in full flow, the lagoons at Balos and Falassarna are at their best, and the resort is warm without being intense. The pitch is freshly cut, ready for the start of the season.
Each morning, your child trains with a top professional ambassador (still to be confirmed for 2027) and our team of UEFA-licensed coaches on a pristine pitch inside the resort. While they are on the pitch, the morning is yours. Switch off at the spa, take a long breakfast by the sea, or simply relax by the pool. Afternoons and evenings are family time.
Football sits at the centre of the week, but it is a holiday designed for the whole family. Across the five days you get a Parents' Game with the ambassador, family Q&As, FE Games Night, the closing medal ceremony, and a steady run of moments your kids will replay long after you fly home.
Each week has its own personality. Around the football we put on parent challenges, pool games for the kids with our coaches, padel sessions with the ambassador, golf, and yoga, with plenty of downtime worked in. How it works
One booking through Football Escapes covers it all: your stay at IKOS Kissamos, your place on the football course, and flights if you would like us to handle them. Most families stay for 7 nights or more, with coaching running Monday to Friday morning and your afternoons and evenings free.
With capacity capped at 25 children per course, the only way to lock in your place is by booking your full holiday with us.
