The Campus

Join us in Portugal’s Algarve for something a bit special, with our Football Course running between 5th and 9th April 2027. The second week of the Easter holidays, with football built into it.

At The Campus, Quinta do Lago’s premier sports complex, the Football Escapes experience is built around proper facilities. Families stay at one of our partner hotels, Conrad Algarve, Wyndham Grand Algarve or The Magnolia Hotel, each with a shuttle to The Campus, so the football fits neatly into a relaxed family holiday.

Families can choose between three outstanding hotels:

• Conrad Algarve: a luxury five star resort with elegant rooms, fine dining, a world class spa and a kids’ club, plus a beach shuttle to Vale do Lobo.
• Wyndham Grand Algarve: spacious suites with one, two or three bedrooms, large pools and gardens, ideal for families who like a bit more room.
• The Magnolia Hotel: a relaxed boutique hotel with retro inspired charm, a heated outdoor pool, colourful family cottages and easy access to The Campus.

Each morning starts on the pitch, where children train with Darren Bent and our UEFA licensed coaches in a relaxed, supportive setting. It’s focused, but still fun, and it suits all abilities. While that’s happening, parents get time to enjoy the Algarve, whether that’s the pool, a round of golf, or a long lunch without rushing.

Then the afternoons slow things down. Time together on the Algarve’s golden beaches, exploring the nature trails around Quinta do Lago, or just doing very little at all.

The week builds nicely as it goes on. Shared experiences like the Parents’ Game, Q&As, FE Games Night and medal celebrations give it a rhythm, and bring everyone into it.

How it works

You book your full holiday through Football Escapes, and we take care of everything else. That includes your stay at one of our partner hotels near The Campus, access to the football course, and flights if you need them. It’s all handled in one place.

Most families stay for 7 nights or longer, with the Football Course running Monday to Friday.

To guarantee your child’s place on the course, the holiday needs to be booked through Football Escapes.
